Fields of Sunflowers and Lavender | 48″ x 48″ acrylic on canvas
Here’s a start to this commissioned piece. It’s been really fun piece to paint so far. Still tons more to do with getting the sunflowers to separate, but it’s a start. Looking forward to working the lavender fields detail in soon too.
The goal for this piece is to be finished in time for Thanksgiving 2013. So stay tuned. Later, JefferyJ.

Beautiful Horse in Union, Kentucky | 24″ x 20 Acrylic on Canvas
Ever since moving to the country and being surrounded by the beauty of these horses everyday, Jeff Johns knew it was time to start painting them. Johns’ first painting in this equestrian inspired series titled, Beautiful Horse in Union, Kentucky, captures a special horse right off Big Bone Road in Union, Kentucky. While the entire series will be of nature and likely quite a few horses from Union, Kentucky, he’ll have to figure out how to name the future paintings.
The painting, Beautiful Horse in Union, Kentucky is a 20” x 24” acrylic on canvas, gallery wrapped and ready to hang. Should be finished early August 2013. If you have any interest in this painting, or any others, call Jeff Johns today, 859.630.9657
This painting has been sold for $300.
