Terrace View of Bernal Hill, San Francisco

Super excited to share that this painting is finally complete. It was so neat to have someone reach out with the idea to bring to life their view from their terrace of the breathtaking Bernal Hill right at sunset.

All the houses, pops of color and orange and yellow reflections in the windows really makes this painting pop. Can’t wait till the client see’s it in person for the first time!

The Breathtaking Niagara Falls

BreathtakingFalls

Excited to share the final capture of this painting of one of the most amazing wonders of the world, Niagara Falls. After being invited to speak at recent conference by CEF (Creative Education Foundation and  CPSI (Creative Problem Solving Institute) I was asked if I had a painting I could donate to the event. Since our portfolio is mainly Cincinnati inspired artwork and current inventory is of that it was apparent that this event in Buffalo New York would need a new piece of art. With a passion to paint local landmarks as inspiration what would be better than the beautiful Niagara Falls. That’s the inspiration behind this vibrant painting.

Proud to say the piece sold for a significant amount working as a great fundraiser for this event.

Delta Mural | Great American Ballpark at Night

DeltaMural_GreatAmericanBP

Excited to announce that we’ve landed an entirely new painting commission from Delta Airlines. We will be painting a Cincinnati Skyline landscape onto the walls of the CVG Customer Engagement Center in downtown Cincinnati. This 22 feet wide long wall is over 9 feet tall and will be covered with paint from floor to ceiling depicting the beautiful city of Cincinnati and magical waters of the Ohio River.

We are honored and privileged to leverage the image rights from Steve Ziegelmeyer, at Ziegelmeyer photography to use his original photograph which has already inspired several painting renditions of this scene and will be integral in crafting this mural for Delta. To see our other paintings inspired by this photography, click here for the first one, and here for the second.

Throughout the Delta mural selection process we worked up several digital compositions of what the wall could look like with our paintings in place. Below are a few which were shared in the early rounds of the selection process. We also worked up images that included the tristate, and even versions with airplanes flying over the city which are not indicated below. In the end the painting above was selected as the inspiration to drive this mural.

The Cincinnati paintings included in the digital comps leveraged following paintings of the Queen City by Jeff Johns and Colin Daugherty and can be seen here. Cincinnati in July

CincinnatiinJulyOur most recent painting of the Cincinnati skyline was just finished this week. This commissioned painting titled, Cincinnati in July, uses bold strokes and vibrant color to capture the essence of the beautiful skyline. We continue to enjoy painting this perspective of the Cincinnati Skyline as it showcases the city’s most iconic buildings. This is actually the fourth painting we’ve done from this perspective.
