The next commission painting is going to be of Fountain Square in the heart of Cincinnati. My clients are looking for a black and white painting to display in their home.
In order to get the right reference visual I spent many times down at the Fountain studying the light and capturing photos at different times of the day. What I quickly realized was that during early afternoon the sculpture casted dark shadows onto other detailed parts which would make it nearly impossible to see all the intricacies to inspire a painting. I then went down early morning and snapped a few. Here is lead image which will inspire the Fountain Square painting. Stay tuned.

Here’s a little commissioned painting from back in the Spring. Just realized it was never shared on the site.
Our most recent painting of the Cincinnati skyline was just finished this week. This commissioned painting titled, Cincinnati in July, uses bold strokes and vibrant color to capture the essence of the beautiful skyline. We continue to enjoy painting this perspective of the Cincinnati Skyline as it showcases the city’s most iconic buildings. This is actually the fourth painting we’ve done from this perspective.
Here’s a start on this latest commissioned painting of the Cincinnati skyline titled, Under the Suspension. This is the third rendition of this painting and really looking forward to seeing how it shapes up. Super excited to be working from this reference again as the perspective of being under the bridge and actually on the river really draws you into the city and perches you right under all the magical lights of Cincinnati.
Here’s the progress capture on my latest Cincinnati painting. This piece captures the beautiful Suspension Bridge, vibrant Ohio River and fog sweeping across some of the city’s most iconic buildings.
