It’s always rewarding to sell a painting, but what motivates me most is the excitement it brings to the new owner.
Here’s a photo and some nice words from very recent customer. “Painting is hung and looks awesome!!!!” ~Lynette Wyler
This painting titled, Great American Ball Park at Night has been captured in the very early stage of the painting. So, keep in mind that there’s much more to do on this piece but it’s fun to bring you along the journey. Stay tuned for the latest, this piece should shape up real nice here soon.
Another exciting fact about this piece is that the reference visual was photographed by the super talented Steve Ziegelmeyer, you can check out his work here.
Great American Ball Park at Night by Jeff Johns and Colin Daugherty, JJCD Collaborations
Was out last night taking photos of the beautiful Cincinnati skyline with an effort to try and figure out the reference visual for the next painting. These shots were taken from across the Ohio River in Newport, Kentucky. These photos turned out pretty nice, but I’m not totally sold on one of these as the next painting.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the photos of the Cincinnati Skyline.
Just wanted to share a collection of Cincinnati skyline paintings that I’ve created, both alone and as a team. Jeff Johns and Colin Daugherty unite on canvas and are known as JJCD Collaborations™. This collection of paintings have been showcased in several galleries as well as displayed in the only Four Diamond Steakhouse in Cincinnati, The Celestial.
Currently, this posting doesn’t include the entire collection, but just wanted to get a collection to the top of my blog site so people could browse these paintings of the Cincinnati skyline. This is our favorite subject to paint, and there’s been a lot of interest from folks so we want to make the art even easier to find.

I received a call from a Cincinnati Police officer this evening that the window display I’ve been showcasing my artwork in downtown Cincinnati was smashed this evening, September 10th 2013. I headed down to the scene around 8 pm and I’m just glad that nothing was actually stolen or damaged.
The word on the street is that it was a very tall woman who just happened to be naked and on a rampage. Pretty crazy the effect art can have on a person!
