OntheRoeblingBridge Excited to share that this painting of the Roebling Bridge is now complete. This reference image was capture the day before the bridge shut down for nearly three months. Now that the bridge is back up and running we figured we’d complete the painting. Also note that this is the first painting that we’ve rocked that incorporates the SkyWheel.

It’s been fun working outside the Cincinnati Skyline world and focusing on some new areas. This year we’ve been asked to paint the St. Louis Skyline as well.

Excited to share the latest on this Columbus Ohio inspired painting. Still a lot more to do on this piece but it’s coming along nicely.

Here’s a progress capture of the latest painting we’ve been rocking titled, 70 Feet Below. This image was taken by our client who is an avid deep sea diver and photographer. This particular image reference was taken below the beautiful waters of Cozumel.

Here’s the latest on the painting I’ve been rocking for my wife and I. This painting captures everything we love about the city. The church we were married in, Paul Brown Stadium on a Monday Night Football evening and of course the amazing skyline.

There’s about fifteen hours left until this piece will be complete. My plan is to tighten up the buildings in the skyline, add some color and form to the houses under the skyline and treat the expressway like a time lapse photo with blurred lines of traffic to really add some color and boldness to the piece.

Stay tuned for the final piece. Once it’s complete, I’ll take a nice photo with the DSLR and post.

Kentucky Thoroughbreds

The final capture of the commissioned horse racing painting titled, Kentucky Thoroughbreds. The piece is a monster with a final canvas size of 79″ x 55″. The best part about doing a commissioned painting is seeing the look on the new owners faces when they see it for the first time. They absolutely loved it and the piece looks just perfect in it’s new home.

Here’s a peak in the studio at an early start to the painting titled, St. Johns and Cincinnati I’m rocking for our anniversary coming up in May. Don’t tell my wife I’m doing this, it’s a surprise.

What makes this painting super special is that it features the church we got married in, St. Johns, we both love the city of Cincinnati, and of course the lit up stadium of our favorite NFL team, the Bengals. I actually took the reference image one night before heading down to a Monday Night game when the Bengals beat the Broncos late 2014.
