Cincinnati Skyline

Cincinnati Skyline Painting

Here’s where it all started. The first painting that Jeff Johns and Colin Daugherty teamed up on. This piece was done in late 2011 and recently sold this year. A true masterpiece this was, not only for the end result but for starting an ultra-unique creative collaboration united on canvas.

A Few Photos of the Cincinnati Skyline | October 13, 2014

Was out last night taking photos of the beautiful Cincinnati skyline with an effort to try and figure out the reference visual for the next painting. These shots were taken from across the Ohio River in Newport, Kentucky.  These photos turned out pretty nice, but I’m not totally sold on one of these as the next painting.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the photos of the Cincinnati Skyline.

Under the Suspension Two | Cincinnati Skyline Painting

Here’s another painting of the Cincinnati Skyline titled, Under the Suspension Two, you can view the higher quality image here if you like.

This Cincinnati Skyline painting was inspired by some photos I captured while out on my boat enjoying Friday fireworks during a Red’s game. The dramatic perspective brings a unique edge to this piece making it truly one of my favorites. Looking forward to rocking another painting like this one in an even larger size. Stay tuned.

Here’s a start to this commissioned piece. It’s been really fun piece to paint so far. Still tons more to do with getting the sunflowers to separate, but it’s a start. Looking forward to working the lavender fields detail in soon too.

The goal for this piece is to be finished in time for Thanksgiving 2013. So stay tuned. Later, JefferyJ.

Photos from my scooter ride in Union, Kentucky

This is the perfect time of the year to take a scooter ride, and what’s taking a scooter ride if you don’t pull over to the side of the road and capture some of the beautiful, yet scary scenes. I hope you enjoy some photos from my latest ride. Cheers, JJ
