GreatMorning™ ~ Arkansas Sunrise Painting

18″ x 18″ Acrylic on Canvas

After a wonderful weekend in the mountains of Arkansas, Michelle and I were up bright and early geared up for a long drive ahead. As we headed on our way before sunrise, we saw cows frolicking in the morning sun. We just had to turn around and take some photos of this beautiful scene. We spent about fifteen minutes on the side of the road just watching the sunrise, with whites of the cows eyes staring at us.
This painting is a glimpse of what we saw that day, and wanted to share an impression on canvas. This painting will evolve, and the process will be captured in this blog post.

Stay tuned and take care,

Will you marry me? The painting | Process Revealed

Now, that she said yes, I can share the process. This one was a bit tricky because it always had to be out of sight so I didn’t ruin the surprise.

She said Yes! May 18, 2012

Excited to participate in the Mt. Adams Art-walk this past Saturday May 12, 2012. I set up an array of artwork that was displayed at The Rookwood in Cincinnati Ohio. Here’s a capture of just a few of the pieces of art on display, plus a capture of an artist working live during the entire show. Enjoy ~ JefferyJ
