I love close up abstracts! I took a lot of close-ups of bark, moss, rocks, & other natural surfaces in my black & white class in college. My Instructor turned me on to Andy Goldsworthy. Are you familiar with his stuff? – his work is awesome. Very unique art.

I agree, I really like close up macro photos as well. Andy Goldsworthy is amazing! Somehow I came across some of his work a few months ago. I just checked him out again since you mentioned his name. Your right, he’s crazy creative/unique and does amazing stuff.
